In its annual ranking of the 50 best Websites, our friends and neighbors over Big Think have placed first in the news and information category, and number 16 in the overall ranking.
The Time list is a mix of start-ups and more established sites, what the editors called "scrappy newcomers and established players."
Also great to see Techmeme register as number 20 among the top 50 sites.
We spoke with Big Think co-founder Victoria Brown in December about the videoblog which publishes unique, brief and compelling videos of thought leaders in society. She told us the site is profitable. We have republished that video today.
