Microsoft's Silverlight, which will power online video for NBC Sports Olympics coverage, will have a number DVR-type functionalities and will offer bloggers and others the opportunity to grab the embed code of certain videos.
NBC is not permitting the sharing of competition clips but of the "color," personality, feature video coverage of the Olympics.
We spoke with Microsoft's Jason Suess about the implementation of Silverlight for the Olympics. He is principal technology evangelist at Microsoft. This is the second of our two interviews with him. We interviewed in Redmond via Skype.

Vista really does not need fixing – it is a great advancement in technology.It may be more of an ordeal for mid size and enterprise firms to upgrade now – but given the security features in Vista – every home user with a tech background and every SOHO or small business should really take advantage of this technology.Non tech savvy users have trouble with the strong security features defaulted in IE – but for some consistently careless users, it may be the best thing for them
