The Shift from Ad Models to License Fees

Everyone's searching for a business model that works in the new media world. Well, how about this one? Getting paid.

In this week's New Media Minute, I expand on stories first reported here on Beet.TV. I look at two business-to-business players recently shifted from ad-centric models to license fees and are starting to turn a profit. Those companies are production shop WatchMojo.com and platform company Magnify.net.
