Despite the Hype, Twitter Use is Limited, WSJ Survey

CARLSBAD, Calif -- Earlier tonight at the D: All Things Digital conference, co-hosts Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher presented results of an independent survey, commissioned by the Wall Street Journal, that found limited acceptance or knowledge of Twitter by most Americans and limited use by its registered users.

They presented the findings in the context of their on stage chat with Twitter co-founders Biz Stone and Evan Williams.
