CNN Has Record Video Streams in March

Video consumption on CNN.com has reached a record with 116 million videos, including clips and live streams, viewed in March, according to internal CNN numbers.  This is a 5 percent increase over February.

CNN.com Live, the platform which provides four simultaneous streams, had 4 million streams in March.

An increasingly popular live show is "Now in the News." hosted by four anchors including Melissa Long. She covers the political beat from the CNN Election Center in New York.  I caught up with her on Tuesday, as she prepared for the big Webcast on the Pennsylvania primary.

She is enjoying the flexibility of hosting a live Webcast -- and she is finding a growing audience.  Over 100,000 watched on Tuesday night.
