"Seesmic, which expects to go live in March, plans in February to start
testing a service for letting people post "short-form" videos using cell phones
and other wireless devices, says company founder Loïc Le Meur," writes Alain Sherter in a story just published in The  Deal.

Beet.TV has learned that Le Meur will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos later this month and will use a Seesmic-powered mobile device to stream live from the show. Nice situation for a product demo!

Mobile video uploading and streaming is the object of a number of start-ups including Kyte and Veeker.  This is a hot sector and surely to grow with better quality mobile devices, with simple internal editing functions.

The video above is a cool one of Loic speaking at Stanford. It is not produced by Beet.TV.
