What is the recipe for success for Web video? It's about information, transparency and sometimes humor.
Brad Inman heads the Emeryville-based Turnhere, a company that creates and distributes "web videos" for book publishers and authors, local directories and others. The company has put together a network of videographers who contribute using a certain style.
I caught up with Brad last month at The Museum of Broadcasting in Manhattan. An appropriate venue to talk about how the future of television will look.
The aesthetics of web video is a topic that we are quite interested in. Kevin Rose gave his view on Beet.TV a few days back. We will publish a very compelling interview on this topic with Mike Moran of IBM.
