10,000 Companies Use Facebook, Co-Founder Tells Beet.TV

Facebook is hugely popular among college and high school students. And a staggering number of companies use Facebook to establish social networks. We hadn't really known how widespread business use was of the very cool platform.

We had an expansive interview with co-founder Chris Hughes about Facebook's early beginnings, its business model, privacy concerns and the future of social networking. We were amazed to learn from Chris that over 10,000 companies use Facebook.

BTW, Chris just graduated Harvard this spring. Unlike his two partners who dropped out after their sophmore year, Chris received his degree. Congrats, Chris!

But issues around abusing privacy aren't new for Facebook. They have these types of issues a few times a year, every year.Facebook still collects your data. Whether or not they show it on screen or not is only marginally relevant. They have records of how you have used their site, and that information is valuable to people who want to sell you things.

Feel free to ask Facebook what is networking.

They use other profile to make millions, and restrict
you from going to meet other.

Real soon they will find out that they are not the creator of the term network or social networking.

I personally will make sure of that.Whether you from Harvard or not.

Chris Hughes and facebook
is a lie, mentioning IBM and high profile companies.

I will prove that in court real soon, there are also social liars.

Racial tenticle, and the companies that uses them
is just there because it's competitive is.

Facebook will not lead no future of Social-Networking
this we promise.

That stole all of my personal emails, and my network music because I was building my own network, and when I asked they didn't even respond.

You may be missing a significant point: many companies which "use Facebook" do so in order to gather information about job prospects during the application process, not for social networking.
