CANNES – While diversity is a societal priority, it is essential for business growth, explains Teneshia Jackson Warner, founder & CEO of the urban market consulting shop Egami.

Her firm created  The Talk for P&G,  a series of video ads of conversations on race between African-American parents and their young children.

Warner was a participant in the Cannes in Color forum on diversity held at the Spotify event space at Cannes Lions. On stage with her was P&G marketing chief Marc Pritchard who urged the industry to embrace diversity as a business imperative.

We spoke with her after the panel about her work and the need for diversity in the marketing and media industries.

This video is part a series of interviews with members of the I.D.E.A. Initiative produced at Cannes Lions 2018, at the Cannes in Color event hosted by Spotify and P&G.  This series is sponsored by true[X].  Please find more segments on this page.
