The Huffington Post, long a bastion of liberal thought and discussion, is becoming a forum for number of Republican thought leaders and operatives, Politico reports.

Arianna Huffington, who co-founded the eponymous site four years ago this month, tells Politco that increased Republican engagement

“is a reflection of our traffic, our brand, and the fact that we are increasingly seen … as an Internet newspaper, not positioned ideologically in terms of how we cover the news.”

That's no joke, but this is a good one:  I've posted Tracey Ullman doing her Arianna Huffington impersonation where she is calling President Barack Obama,  imploring him to appoint her special envoy to Greece.

It's from Ullman's  "State of the Union" series on Showtime.

Speaking of new bloggers on the Huffington Post, I am pleased to be on the site as is my colleague Daisy Whitney, a regular contributor to Beet.TV
