Ken Li over at Reuters has what appears to be the first report out today about the new personal finance channel from AOL called  WalletPop.  The launch comes as the portals are gearing up personal finance sites which have become increasingly popular.

Yahoo! Finance is the industry leader in traffic, according to a recent report by comScore.  But AOL is a close second and the launch of WalletPop might well put it in the lead.

Here’s an early review from Mashable.

Google Finance
doesn’t even register on the comScore ranking of
business sites.  But Google Finance is still in beta and has been

Pittman, he talks about global expansion of Google Finance.  I’ve
reposted our interview above.
