NewFronts Reaching “Ignition Point” as Ad Agencies are Jumping in “En Masse,” Digitas’ McCarus

By on 04/30/2014 11:11 AM @beet_tv

John McCarus, SVP at Digitas, one of the founders of NewFronts, says that deals around digital video are  taking shape as the advertising industry is “jumping into the fray en masse,”  in this interview with Beet.TV

He sees this week’s presentations as an “ignition point” as the industry has matured coupled with the expansion of multiple screens, notably OTT and mobile.

Digitas started the the NewFront back in 2009.  Two years, ago, the agency expanded the program to be known as the NewFronts, with a number of publishers and portals.  This years, Digitas remains the only agency to have its own presentation event, which is tomorrow, May 1.

Last night AOL announced that Digitas is buying media around two of shows.
