Google’s Irene Au on the “Culture of Empowerment”

AUSTIN — Earlier this week at SXSW we caught up with Irene Au, who heads up Google's user interface design and user research operations.

She spoke on the culture of innovation at at Google.  She explains how a culture of innovation is fostered by a 'bottom up" structure where innovation comes from employees from various levels of the company.

Irene also speaks about the new Google Voice, which launched this week.
