YuMe to Integrate Online Video Ads into Microsoft Silverlight

YuMe, the Redwood City-based online video advertising technology company announced today that it will integrate its ad platform with Microsoft Silverlight.

This one of the first of the major ad technology/ad serving companies to be integrated into Silverlight.

Microsoft's Silverlight, the rich Web-plug in which competes with Adobe Flash, has been picking up some key partners lately in the online video space.  Just last week, Ooyala and Kaltura announced they are building video players for Silverlight.

In February, Daisy sat down with Jayant Kadambi, president of YuMe, for this overview of the company's growth and commitment to technology development.

In other Silverlight news, version 4 is expected to be released tomorrow, Info World reports.
