The title and thumbnail accompanying online content plays an impertative role in how effectively it shared on the social media space, says the content recommendation firm, Outbrain's COO, David Sasson, in this interview with Beet.TV

The company is responsible for recommending follow up links to complimentary video and print material that accompanies online content.  Sasson says that the company is working with several big broadcasters including ABC and FOX.

Outbrain's algorithm's target audiences with recommended readings or viewing based on a range of metrics, including the type of content they are currently consuming, the subject matter and the time of day.

In this interview, Sasson explains how the firm's video and mobile offerings work across multiplatforms.

The company raised a $35 million D round in December.
