Consumers are willing to give up “pocket real estate” as they carry increasinly large mobile devices, says Ross Rubin, lead technology analyst at the NPD Group.

He says that NPD has found that big display devices, meaning screens bigger that 4″ now account for a quarter of mobile devices.  The move to larger screens is driven in part by mobile video consumption.

Rubin was a panelist at the Beet.TV Video Strategy Summit which will be streamed in its entirety today at noon, EDT here on Beet.TV
