In June I spoke with BitTorrent president Ashwin Navin about plans to provide a content distribution platform for producers to distribute content using his company’s P2P technology.  Back then, the product, called DNA, was in beta.  He give a great overview so I’ve republished the interview today timed to some big news.

This week the product went live with a number of customers including Brightcove.   

There’s been a lot talk about BitTorentDNA in the context of the highly anticipated launch of JoostRyan Stewart at ZDNet wonders if emerging high-definition online video platforms emerging including BitTorrentDNA, might challenge Joost.
