Journalists today need to "own the entire creative process," not just write and file text stories, says Michael Dunn, CTO of Hearst Interactive, in this interview with Beet.TV.  Video needs to be part of individual reporting, he adds.

Also in this interview, he speaks about online video solutions and the utility of Brightcove to Hearst's online operations.

He says he likes Brightcove as it is "constantly innovating." Dunn will be speaking at the Brightcove's PLAY conference in Boston next week.
