YouTube Readies Live Streaming from Outer Space

If all goes according to plan with the Space Shuttle Endeavor, YouTube will stream a live interview with the crew on May 2 at 2:15 EDT via PBS which is producing the transmission and will host it on the Newsh our YT channnel.

This will be among the first major news events streamed live via a YouTube partner since the company's live streaming platform was launched.

Mashable first reported the Endeavor live interview.

Earlier this month, Beet.TV visited YouTube headquarters for a talk with Joshua Siegel who is product manager for live streaming. This is the second of two interviews with him.
