Yesterday in Las Vegas at NAB conference, I caught up with John King,
national correspondent at CNN.  We spoke about the impact of online
video on the presidential campaign.  He says that the Obama campaign had an early start and is most aggressive but points to progress with the Clinton campaing and the clever video blogging work
by John McCain’s daughter Meghan.

Here’s a recent feature about online videos and the campaigns in the Los Angeles Times.

At the end of the interview, I asked John how he does such great stand-ups, the opening and closing remarks for his segments.  He says he’s had a lot of practice — and likes to think of his stand-ups as conversations.  He does it as good as anyone.
