Here’s my second interview with Tom Wilde, CEO of the Boston-based EveryZing, the video search platform that uses speech-to-text to index and maximize the discoverability of online video.

The company provides a white label solution to media companies and various enterprises.

Earlier today, Boston.com, the regional portal of the Boston Globe, part of The New York Times Company, launched a multimedia SEO solution powered by EveryZing.  The first implementation involves the maximization of sports video.   Here’s how Tom explained to me.

"As part of EveryZing’s re-launch in June, the company has increasingly focused on bringing its solution to media companies across the web.  Using our proprietary speech-to-text technology, EveryZing delivers audio and video search and multimedia SEO to customers on a white label basis. A good example of this is the Boston.com implementation, where EveryZing powers the multimedia search tab on the site, as well as publishing dozens of multimedia "topic pages" based on Boston.com’s video content partnerships with NECN, NESN and other regional content providers.  This solution creates significant growth in the consumption of multimedia content which in turn drives increased advertising opportunities for the publisher."
