Crackle formerly know as Grouper, the video sharing and advertising network recently acquired by Sony Pictures, has a "bucket of cash" and 15 unique  monthly visitors, CEO Josh Felser told me when we met last week at the NewTeeVee summit where Josh was a panelist.

He likens Crackle to a  new kind of film studio which finds talent, funds and markets videos.

He says the company has the resources to develop and market independent video.

Earlier this week, Crackle announced tie-ups with Honda, Pepsi and other big brand advertisers to sponsor Crackle clips.
