Craig Rubens over at NewTeeVee reports this morning that Next New Networks has made its first content acquisition deal in the purchase BarelyPolitical.com, the political satire site known mostly for the hit Obama Girl show. Star Amber Lee is pictured below.
A couple of weeks back, I interviewed Tim Shey, co-founder of NNN. He told me how the network of niche video shows is expanding. In the past, the shows have been homegrown, looks like they’re buying now.
It will be interesting to see which niche video network with find success. Gotta keep a watch on this.
