LAS VEGAS – Adobe’s video editing tool Premiere, got a significant upgrade with the integration of some elements of graphics tool After Effects, the company announced at the NAB Show this week. We sat down with Bill Roberts, who heads up video products at Adobe for an update on Premiere.

He says that Premiere is getting wider acceptance in Hollywood where it has been used by director David Fincher in “Gone Girl.” The biggest growth is in television news where the company’s editing software has been embraced by 80 television groups in the last year, he tells Beet.TV
