AMSTERDAM – "Kaltura’s
promise is to be able to deliver every video to every user on every device,
everywhere around the world," says Shay David, co-founder and chief revenue
officer of the open source online video platform in this interview with Beet.TV at the IBC show.

He says that support
for new devices was a big theme at this year’s IBC show and that Kaltura is a leader
in this arena.  Kaltura, he says,
“is one of the only places in the market where we actually offer support for
pretty much any device on the market right now.”

In addition, Kaltura is
working to make video delivered by their platform as widely available as
possible by supporting localization with out-of-the-box support for all of the
major languages, both for administrators on the back-end and for viewers, with
support for dubbing and subtitling.

David also told us that
Kaltura will soon be announcing a number of new partnerships to help deliver on
their promise of making Kaltura video as ubiquitous as possible.  Partnership will run the gamut from
ingestion and transcoding to analytics, resellers and more.
