Watching video on a BlackBerry right now is not the best experience — it involves a download then playback.  According to a post on the Boy Genius Report, support for Flash Video and Silverlight will be streaming to the BlackBerry in around 12 months.

Although a more limited version of Flash, called Flash Lite, is on many mobile devices outside the U.S., the new implementation is for the full Flash application to appear on the BlackBerry, the report says.

Last September, I interviewed Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch, who spoke about Flash and its evolution to mobile devices.
