Blinkx has introduced a new set of buttons to its interface, allowing users to customize their video selection, Stephen Shankland of CNET News.com reports and has a review.  Here's the company's press release on the news.

In an interview, Blinkx CEO Suranga Chandratillake told Shankland that the company has 65 employees, is hiring and will be profitable next year.  Analysts who cover the San Francisco-based company, whose stock is traded on the London Stock Exchange, expect the company to report $14 million in revenue for the fiscal year ending in March.

More on the news in London's Guardian.  And here's a story from Gavin O'Malley at MediaPost.

Kelsey interviewed Suranga immediately after our Beet.TV Online Video Roundtable at MSNBC last October.  I've reposted the interview today.
