AMSTERDAM — At the recent IBC trade show, industry tech stalwart Adobe introduced a range of new features to software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Story and other products via the Creative Cloud model. That includes more than 150 new features across products, says Ellen Wixted, Senior Product Manager at Adobe Systems, in an interview with Beet.TV.

The Creative Cloud, cloud-based access to desktop applications, lets Adobe deliver new features at a faster rate, Wixted says. In addition, Adobe introduced new tools in its Adobe SpeedGrade software including high-end color grading, which brings a boost in color technology, as well as additional features for masking out parts of an image.
Wixted also touched on the growth of Ultra HD in the industry, noting that Adobe is adding support and new formats into its tools for  producers working with such high-resolution production. “We are building tools to help the next generation of content look gorgeous,” she says.
