Getting site visitors to click on videos is a challenge for publishers.  Many, including the Atlantic Monthly, are finding better success when videos are embedded in stories, rather than in separate video sections.

These are the comments of Scott Havens, who heads digital operations for the Atlantic.  He was previously at Portfolio and Yahoo.  He says that videos within some articles get 4-5 percent click through rates.

Following Scott's comments is Ben de la Cruz, who heads documentary videos at the Washington Post.
