WPP's Xaxis unit is preparing to launch private exchanges for industry verticals including health care and automotive, says Christina Beaumier VP for Global Development in this on-stage dialogue with Joanna O'Connell, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research.
Beaumier explains that both publishers and marketers seek a "safe" and controlled platform to buy and sell premium inventory on a real-time basis — and private exchanges are an important development for the industry. She addresses the luanch of private marketplaces at 3:45 into the segment.
