Alex Bogusky is one of the most revered ad men working today and his work has been profiled in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Time, Newsweek, and Advertising Age. He is the chairman of Crispin Porter + Bogusky agency and the creative mastermind behind recent campaigns for superstar brands such as Burger King, Guitar Hero, and Domino's.

He spoke at the recent NATPE conference in Las Vegas on the subject of cool ads and we caught up with him afterward. He pulled the curtains back on the recent campaign his agency crafted for Domino's that has been cited for its frankness. In the pizza commercials the company addresses consumer complaints like "the pizza tastes like cardboard," Bogusky said. "People were trash talking the product…and we showed you what they were saying."

In our interview, Bogusky also talks about futurist and author Ray Kurzweil and what his ideas mean for technology and culture.

Bogusky is also the co-author of the recent book Baked In that explains how brands can adapt and thrive in a world where "the product is the message."
