Television stations are aiming to offer new Internet ad opportunities this year, especially surrounding search and hyper-local opportunities, said David Lebow, CEO of Internet Broadcasting, during a recent interview.

IBS powers the Web sites for a number of prominent TV station groups such as Hearst, Post-Newsweek, McGraw-Hill, and Meredith.

He talked to us about the efforts local broadcasters are focused on this year as they aim to use the Web to syndicate their content.  Some of the sites have seen 30% to 50% growth in their site usage year over year.
