Beet Retreat Agenda,Travel and other Essential Information

I am delighted you are joining us at the W Fort Lauderdale on November 11-13 for our executive retreat on addressable television and video.   We have a spectacular line-up. Thank you for coming!  And a huge thanks to our sponsors Videology along with Adobe, AT&T AdWorks and Nielsen.

*Registration — To confirm a place at the event, an email confirmation from me to the participant or to the comms exec is all that is needed. With a confirmation, a secure email invoice will be sent.   We ask that registration payment be made in full no later that September 15. We can provide a full refund with notification by October 15. Cancellations after that date are not refundable but can be used as credit for future Beet events.

Studio Tapings

In addition to the sessions, we are taping all the participants, individually,”Beet style”  in a meeting room adjacent to the conference hall.  We will schedule these beginning on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. at 15 minute intervals.  We will continue these tapings on Thursday and Friday (during the sessions) and we plan to have everyone interviewed by 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

4:00 – 6:00 Keynote presentations

6:30 Rooftop reception and gala dinner hosted by Videology


8:00 – 9:00  Informal breakfast outside the conference room.

9:00 – noon  Sessions

noon –  1:30  Networking lunch hosted by Adobe

1:30 – 5:00    Sessions

6:00               Buses depart for luxury dinner cruise hosted by AT&T AdWorks

10:00             Post dinner party hosted by Nielsen (at the W)


8:00 – 9:00   Informal breakfast outside the conference room

9:00 – noon  Sessions and closing keynotes

12:30 – 2:00 Pool-side lunch hosted by Adobe

While the event concludes on Friday afternoon, I hope that you will enjoy the Florida sunshine and remain at the W for Friday night or the whole weekend!

*Room Reservations:

We always welcome spouses and partners to join us for the dinners.   For families with kids, the hotel provides babysitting.   For business associates wanting to join us, that would involve an additional fee.   Our fee, for a very limited number industry executives, who are not speaking on panels, is $3500.

*Travel and Transportation

The most convenient airport is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International.  The airport is about 15 minutes cab/Uber ride to the hotel.   For those coming from the West Coast and Europe, you will likely arrive at Miami International, which is about an hour drive.
