Addressable Advertising

A New Reality for Linear TV

A Beet.TV Leadership Series presented by

TV programmers and distributors are poised to unlock the full value of linear addressable television. The solutions from SpotX are in part built in support of the Project OAR open standard, which creates new addressable opportunities by replacing linear spots at the glass (smart TV) level.

SpotX is also powering programmatic executions within traditional set-top boxes owned by multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs), further helping to make addressable television available to programmers via programmatic at scale.

This new opportunity for programmers, buyers and for MVPDs will be explored in a 10-part video series produced and published by Beet.TV

Among the topics explored:

  • How is data empowering decisioning and attribution
  • What is the role of the DSPs in the new scenario
  • What are the expectations for buyers
  • How much inventory will be available from programmers and  MVPDs
  • What will this mean for frequency capping, relevance and user experience.
  • What is future of TV advertising in an impression-based future
