Emeryville, California-based TubeMogul, launched in 2008 as video syndication and analytics tool for video producers (which we used), pivoted about two years ago to transform itself into a top video advertising delivery platform.

In April, the company delivered  830 million videos, comScore reported last week.  This places it as the third biggest independent online video advertising company.

Last week at the OMMA Video conference we caught up with TubeMogul cofounder and CEO Brett Wilson for this overview on the company's evolution, its recent growth and some new efforts including serving ads in Facebook Apps and games.
