Dov Moran once founded a business sold to SanDisk for $1.6 billion. Now he is heading up Comigo, another Israeli company making mobile software for interacting with TV platforms.

“I believe we are just at the beginning of totally new TV,” Moran tells Beet.TV. “It’s going to be very different – many sources, a lot of video will come from your friends.”

Comigo also makes software for Android set-top boxes, its own being “the only reliable Android box on the market”, according to Moran.

Ultimately, Comigo aims to inject social services in to TV experiences and to profit from a revenue share of ecommerce income offered to operators.

Beet.TV we spoke with Moran earlier this year at the IBC conference in Amsterdam.
