BERLIN — Augmented reality is "a really exciting growth space at the moment," says Tom Wood, Commercial Director and Co-Founder of mobile augmented reality agency Kudan.  We had the opportunity to speak with Wood at the at The Europas in Berlin to find out more about how the company is working with advertisers to integrate augmented reality into campaigns.

Wood explains that the augmented reality space is "filled with gimmicks, so we’re really passionate about applying this new technology for marketing campaigns and for our agency partners in a really sensible way."  He adds, "We think there’s a huge opportunity for advertisers in augmented reality," from enabling new technology try-outs and product try-outs from the comfort of home.

The company, which integrates their technology into existing third-party apps, works to provide "useful experiences for users."  In the video, Wood demos a couple of these such experiences, including a look at a building in a 360 environment, as well as an Audi print campaign that recognizes hotspots to provide consumers with an augmented reality experience.
