The TEDTalk videos, the iconic, 18-minute on-stage presentations by leading thinks, has reached one billion video views, according to Adam Ostrow at Mashable.
To celebrate the milestone, Mashable is promoting the videos on its site, Ostrow writes.
TEDTalks, the video production and distribution of the videos created at TED conferences, was launched in 2006.
In October of 2010, we spoke with TED's Curator Chris Anderson about the growith and influence of video around the TED conferences. We have republished that interview today.
P.S. This is one of my favorite videos in our archives – so why don't you press play. AP
