VIEQUES, PR - The future of video journalism will be one of the two principal tracks at the Beet.TV executive retreat tomorrow and Saturday at the W Retreat & Spa on Vieques, Puerto Rico.
Keynoting the program will be Vivian Schiller, Chief Digital Officer of NBC News, a former CEO of National Public Radio. Schiller will kick off the event with a fireside chat with Jason Pontin, Editor-in-Chief of the MIT's Technology Review.
The conference track on video journalism will include Stokes Young, executive producer for multimedia at MSNBC.com; Adam Singolda, CEO of video recommendation engine Taboola; Lippe Oosterhof, CEO of London's Livestation; and Zohar Dayan, CEO of the Tel Aviv-based Wibbitz.
The second track is about monetization of digital video will include Paul Kontonis, VP/Group Director, Brand Content, Digitas; Joy Marcus, former GM of Dailymotion USA, now venture partner with Draper Fisher Jurvetson/Gotham; Sorosh Tavakoli, CEO of London-based VideoPlaza; Anthony Risicato, GM VideoHub, and Eli Goodman, Media Evangelist, comScore.
About the Retreat
