Verizon Targets Android Users with New Multi-Function App

Subscribers to Verizon FiOS can now use an Andriod App which allows them to watch programming saved on their Flex View library, functions as a remote control and is a tool to access the telco's new Home Monitoring and Control service, Verizon announced today.

The company will be releasing an Apple iOS App later this year.

The Flex View product has been available for about a year. We covered the launch of Flex last year and have republished our interview with Verizon's Joe Ambeault. Ambeault is the Director of Product Development and Management for FiOS TV.
