Cisco, ramping up its efforts around online video management services, has purchased Boston-based ExtendMedia for an undisclosed sum, Cisco announded today.
Dan Rayburn puts the value of the deal at around $80 million.
As we reported last year, ExtendMedia is playing a key role in the "TV Everywhere" initiative of cable operators.
